Aaron's car broke down last week...again...I had to call a tow truck to get me and vehicle home, since AA couldn't start it. - A friend came over and fixed it enough to take it back to the mechanic and make him fix it properly this time. With no charge.
My Puter blew up...literally...smoking even. Nasty smell lingering, email stuck on my inaccessible hard drive. - A quick trip to Bond and Bond and an impulse HP later and I have a new puter with DVD burner and lotsa HD space...and more debt.
My little sister, Serena, who came up to Auckland for The NZ Highland Dancing Championships broke her arm and had to pull out of the competition. She fell during the first step of the first dance of the first day. The tough little bitch insisted on dancing the reel of Tolouch (sp?), Fling, Swords, and another reel before we could take her for x-rays. (almost 12 hours between the fall and the plastering). This really buggers up her plans for her holidays. No Rainbows end, can't go to the hot pools, can't even try on clothes at the mall (she's 15, that is about the extent of it).
I dropped my cellphone at the supermarket and seem to have broken something. I can receive and make calls, but I can't see the screen at all, and the beeps don't go either. Seems I need to make another impulse purchase at some point very soon.
