Summer...apparently

A couple of years ago I went to meet some young pagan people in a pub. I had a bit of a heated discussion with one young man there, about whether we should celebrate the seasonal festivals according to astrological timing or intuitively based on what 'feels' like the mid summer/mid winter etc.

Today is the summer solstice. According to Bryce, the sun is at the height of its power...it's all down hill from here.
