ankhstOk. Feeling a lot better.
Thinking of going to the Toga party tonight. I need practise wrapping my Sari... I reckon it's close enough.
In the mean time, I think I'll go to the mall and buy a new petticoat and a keyboard, maybe some alcohol. Or maybe I won't. I dunno.
Paul was in town this week. he stayed with us last Saturday before heading north to his writers' retreat. He got back yesterday and we ran him to publishers etc before putting him on the plane.
His book goes to print in 2 weeks and will be in the shops in June. Australia release about 2 weeks after NZ.
Apparently he's given me an acknowledgement...lumped in with anyone who read the book. Prat.
Seeing him has made me realise a few things though...
1. Some people never change or grow.
2. He's an expert at psycologial abuse.
3. I stayed with him way too long.
4. My other exes are really not so bad afterall.
5. Aaron's a really great guy. (ok, I knew that already, but sometimes you need to remember these things)
Leon...I'm sorry for being such a control freak, and so bloody inconsiderate.
Andrew...I'm sorry I wasn't more into it. I can't help feeling I may have killed things early on.
Lisa...Thank you for herding me through my depression, you were a life saver.
Cat...thank you for seeing the pain for what it really was.
All KAOS people (and Unkie Leddy)...Thank you for waking me up to my own value. It may seem a bit strange, but until I met kaos I thought I was worthless on my own and people only liked me for Paul.
And what the hell happened to Munchkin? I haven't heard from that wee tart for about a year!
Aaron's in Rotorua for the weekend, at the Oceania MTB champs, so I'm all alone and grumpy.
