ankhstI had the day off today, with Aaron.
The plan was to ride our bikes down to the city and catch a boat to waihiki for the day. The sun was shining, it was warm and lovely with a slight breeze. Perfect day to explore a local island paradise.
We had to turn back at the end of our street.
It turns out, although I feel like my health is back to normal, it's far from it.
We came home, planning to take the ar into town instead, but discovered we couldn't afford the fairy fares anyway, so flagged that idea. I went to bed for a nap (feeling nauseous and dizzy, with twitchy, tired legs).
Aaron played x-box and I slept off the sickness, then we tried to go out for a coffee, but the cafes were all closing early. we did find somewhere, but their drinks were awful.
What a waste of a lovely day off.
I did discover that my mint did survive the mowing, yay, and I planted some more herbs in the garden next to it.
I'm now trying to learn 'my lagan love'
