I have asthma. It's not usually an issue, but every now and then somethign irritates my lungs and I struggle with the whole breathing thing.

Some nights during winter this has resulted in my breathing becoming so laboured that the sleeping me just doesn't bother. Perdita has always made sure that this was not an issue. She would sleep on my chest or by my hed and beat me until I started breathing again.

I have survived to 30 without having to remember to breathe, so I don't know why I should have to start leaning now.

*grumble*
